Lazy days of summer
This weather has been amazing. Last weekend members of my family took advantage of the weather and went camping at Beaver Lake Resort. We stayed home and took advantage of activities around time. From what I’ve heard and judging by the pictures I’ve seen, they had a fantastic time. They stayed in a cabin on the lake. They fished, hiked, barbequed, had bonfires and relaxed. We’ll definitely have to book a weekend for next year (since they’re fully booked for the remainder of the summer).
We’ve had an enjoyable summer so far. We’ve been to Playland, watched the fireworks, visited with extended family, and took generally tried to take advantage of the good weather. There are a couple of birthdays coming up over the next week. One of our assistants, Sadaf, is celebrating her birthday tomorrow. Phil’s birthday is on Wednesday and my brother-in-law, Brian, celebrates his big day on Friday. His wife, my sister, are also celebrating their one year anniversary next week as well. I’m anticipating a busy week, filled with lots of food, family and fun!
